In Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone, there are few assault rifles more popular than the XM4. The Black Ops Cold War AR has shot up in popularity since Season 4, thanks to some Modern Warfare rifles getting nerfed. While the XM4 has also seen its fair share of nerfs, its loadout is still one of the best currently in Warzone.
Though some fans might prefer the Cold War AK-47, and for good reason, the XM4 is a bit more balanced. It doesn’t possess as solid close-range capabilities but it’s treated as a more traditional assault rifle. This means players can play at longer ranges and still find huge amounts of success. Below, fans can see the recommended loadout for the XM4 in Warzone.
Best XM4 loadout in Warzone
The XM4’s best loadout in Warzone is going to look like many other assault rifle loadouts at first glance. It carries most of the same attachments with one key exception. That exception is to try and match the XM4 more closely with the Cold War AK-47 in close range. This is done by boosting the XM4’s mobility slightly so it can perform better in tight spaces, without sacrificing its long-range prowess.
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force
- Optic: Microflex LED
- Ammunition: 45 Rnd
- Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap
The one key difference between this loadout and other top AR loadouts is the Airborne Elastic Wrap. Most other AR loadouts will swap that for the Field Agent Grip, which improves both vertical and horizontal recoil. However, since the XM4 already has such fantastic recoil control, the Elastic Wrap is equipped instead to improve the XM4’s ADS speed. This boosts its mobility quite a bit.
Also, the Agency Suppressor and 13.5″ Task Force barrel also improve recoil control. So, the Field Agent Grip isn’t necessary for this XM4 loadout in Warzone.
