World of Tanks Premier League ANZ

World of Tanks ANZ Premier League goes live at PAX Online

The Australian and New Zealand Premier League for World of Tanks goes live this weekend. The launch coincides with PAX Online. There’s eight teams battling for the title. These teams have finalized player drafts and will duke it out for the $10,000 AUD prize pool.

World of Tanks Teams

The competition is only open to residents of Australia and New Zealand. Representative teams from the various states and territories have been confirmed. Here are your 2020 ANZ Premier League World of Tanks teams:

  • Adelaide Action X
  • Brisbane Bulldogs
  • Cairns Comets
  • Melbourne Matildas
  • Perth Panthers
  • North Sydney Sentinels
  • South Sydney Skorpians
  • Auckland Archers
  • Christchurch Conquerors

This is the biggest World of Tanks event for the ANZ community. Each team will be sporting their own team colours, logos, broadcast cameo, and identity. Don’t forget to tune into the official Twitch channel to watch all the Premier League Action. Competition starts this weekend and runs through until 18 September. The first two rounds will be played at PAX Online this weekend.

PAX Online

Alongside the fierce competition, World of Tanks ANZ team are running a panel for PAX Online. You can catch their talk on the official PAX Online channel. If you want to check out the panel, tune in Wednesday, 16 September at 3.30-4.30pm AEST. It’s a stellar lineup, featuring some of the best from Wargaming:

The team will be talking through various career paths available in the gaming industry. It’s titled “The non-programmers guide to the gaming galaxy.” There’s also a virtual booth that will be open all nine days of PAX.
