A new season of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has arrived, and a plethora of fresh content is available for players to unlock and experience. From the many core changes to Warzone 2’s gameplay to the maps and weapons available in MW2 multiplayer, players will be busy for at least some time in Season 2. During the time players are in Season 2, they will be leveling up their account level. For some players, they started out at level 250 since they reached max prestige level in Season 1. Others will begin at whatever level they finished Season 1 at. Season 2 has increased the max prestige level in MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 2, and players are curious about what level they can reach this season.
The prestige system in MW2 and Warzone 2 works very similarly to how it did in the past. Players have a maximum level they can reach each season, and there are four different prestiges every 50 levels. As players earn a new prestige, they unlock an additional icon for their account. At the max level for each season, players unlock a weapon blueprint. If you’re trying to get to the pinnacle in Season 2, read below for the exact max level cap.
Highest prestige in Warzone 2 and MW2 season 2
There are 200 new levels to earn in Season 2, meaning that players can go up to level 450. The prestiges are at the following levels along the way:
- Prestige 6: Unlocked at Level 300
- Prestige 7: Unlocked at Level 350
- Prestige 8: Unlocked at Level 400
- Prestige 9: Unlocked at Level 450
It’s unclear why Activision didn’t allow for five prestige levels to make the max level 500. Regardless, this is what players will be working toward in Season 2. After they reach level 450, players will not be able to level up or earn a new prestige level until Season 3, which likely begins in April.
