Midway through Season 1, players have discovered another invisibility glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. This sort of bug has appeared in the past and also popped up in Vanguard, but now it’s back with a vengeance.
The Tier 100 Operator skin on the Season 1 Battle Pass, “Awoken Francis,” is turning players invisible in Warzone Pacific as long as they’re at a specific range. This has led players to call the skin “pay-to-win,” as it can only be attained by purchasing the premium Battle Pass.
100 Tier Operator skin makes players invisible in Warzone Pacific
In order for players to become invisible while using the Awoken Francis skin, they need to be at least 35 meters away from an enemy. Being this far will make the player’s body disappear and only leave the Operator’s fiery mask.
So, just discovered the Tier 100 skin in Warzone Pacific makes you invisible past 35 meters after last nights update…. Please fix @RavenSoftware pic.twitter.com/wgUhKS7DHK

This glitch has actually been around since mid-December, but concerns over it not being fixed have reappeared. Raven Software has yet to comment on the issue, even though community members have raised the problem on social media many times.
The new invisibility bug coincides with the developers’ holiday break, though. All of Activision Blizzard’s developing studios have been on break since before Christmas and won’t be back in the office until after the new year. This has likely delayed any bugs being patched with an update. Sledgehammer Games delayed a weapon balancing update for Vanguard until after the new year as well.
So for right now, players will have to endure enemies running around with the Awoken Francis skin in Warzone Pacific. All players can do is make sure to keep those enemies close.
