SM Blaze’s Russ broke down his thoughts on the EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs. He revealed how he feels about Turkey qualifying for their first VALORANT LAN, and what makes SuperMassive Blaze so special compared to Turkish teams of the past. Russ also spoke about leaving BBL Esports for SuperMassive Blaze. He told Showstopper how he wasn’t happy on his former team but that SM Blaze is a place where he’s set up for success. With any new roster formation comes risk, but russ told our hosts he didn’t see the assemblage of SM Blaze as all that risky, thanks to the trust he has in his fellow players. However, their fast success has been a surprise to even him, he said.

In one of the most intriguing moments of the episode, russ revealed that he believes teammate Baran “Izzy” Yılmaz has the potential to become the best Jett in the world, given enough time. And, with the likes of cNed, TenZ, Asuna and yay out there, competition is stiff.
