This week on Top Tier, we ranked all the VALORANT skin sets available in the VALORANT Store. That means no Battle Pass or agent skins. And, let us warn you right now, this list is going to make you mad.
Now, when it comes to ranking VALORANT skins, there are two basic questions: “Do I want my gun to look like a IRL gun?” or “Do I want my gun to look like something completely ridiculous?”
There is a lot to be said for the first school of thought, especially if you have been a fan of FPS games for a long time. Classic games like Call of Duty, Counter-Strike and even Rainbow 6 have realistic-looking guns that appear clean as hell. It’s safe to say that it’s very clear which members of our panel lean toward preferring this type of weapon skin.
Now, when it comes to the other side of the coin — the wacky, out of this worlds weapon skins — these are extremely hit or miss. With VALORANT skins, some of these outlandish, high-concept skins really miss the mark. Did anyone rush to get out their wallet and pay for the Spline skin set after it was released? Was anyone eager for that hollow mess of twisted metal? Just no thank you, please.
So ask yourself, which type of weapon skin do you prefer to show off in your ranked games?
From Elderflame to the Prime Collection, we’re massacring all your favorites.
