The biggest changes to February’s Twitch statistics were defined largely by the release of two games: Lost Ark and Elden Ring. The two games were, respectively, the second and eighth most-watched categories over the course of the month.

The English-language version of Lost Ark, a Korean MMOARPG, was released in North America on Feb. 11. It quickly shot to the top of Twitch and became the most watch gaming category of the month. In February alone, Lost Ark had 127.72 million hours watched, just ahead of perennial favorite League of Legends.

Elden Ring was released on Feb. 25 to wild critical acclaim. In only three days, Elden Ring became the eighth most watched category on Twitch for the entire month, with 59.43 million hours watched, according to Streams Charts.

Outside of popular Twitch games like Apex Legends and VALORANT, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was able to claim the sixth spot with a 63% increase from the month prior. The Intel Extreme Masters Katowice event was largely responsible for this huge bump.

Lost Ark streamers go big

Although Félix “xQc” Lengyel kept his stranglehold as the most-viewed streamer on the platform, a couple of other channels squeezed their way into the top 10 during February. Asmongold’s return to streaming on his main channel, after a prolonged absence, catapulted him back into the top 10 as the third most-watched streamer of the month, according to Streams Charts. Asmongold was able to capitalize on the surge in Lost Ark viewership, and his huge fanbase, to leap to the top.

Although not an individual streamer, Fextralife was another channel that rode the momentum of the new game releases. Like many of the top streamers, Fextralife was able to offer in-game drops for Lost Ark, which helped expand their Twitch viewership in February.

Another addition to the top 10 is a V-Tuber called ironmouse. She recently became the most subbed to female streamer on all of Twitch, following a subathon. Ironmouse accrued 7.15 million hours watches over the course of February, according to Streams Charts.
