Titan Quest II gameplay video shows a well-polished product

Do you remember slaying Hydras, looting dungeons, and hacking-and-slashing your way through the old classic Titan Quest? Then you’re in for a treat, since a new gameplay video just dropped, complete with developer commentary!

The first Titan Quest launched all the way back in 2006. Now, eighteen years later, THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games is set to supply us with an actual release date — All we have currently is some time in Winter 2024/2025 (Northern Hemisphere winter: December to February).

Judging from the video, Titan Quest II returns to the roots of the original and gives us a good-looking, functional hack-and-slash in the classic Diablo style.

But you don’t need to listen (read?) to me yammer on. Here’s that gameplay video.

Personally, I can’t wait to immerse myself back into this awesome universe and craft those perfect builds that can melt enemies with zero effort!

I’m interested to see how difficult this one will be though. If I remember the good old original, it did get a little dull at times with enemies, quests, and adventuring proving to be a little too easy. Even in the video above, normal enemies don’t seem to be a threat at all.

Maybe we’ll get a hardcore more, and be able to play with friends to overcome the challenge! Yeah, that’s right, Titan Quest II will feature online multiplayer.

Can’t wait.
