The Vargo-S is one of the best pieces of content to come out of the new Season 4 Reloaded update in Call of Duty: Warzone.
A practical carbon copy of the Vargo 52 from Black Ops Cold War, at least aesthetically, veterans of Warzone will know this assault rifle well. In order to unlock the Vargo-S in Warzone, players need to get 15 close-range kills. There’s no giant grind to unlock this AR, as Activision is seemingly trying to let players acquire new seasonal weapons more easily from now on. Once players have done the challenge and unlocked the Vargo-S in Warzone, they can immediately start using it and working their way to equipping its best loadout.
As the Vargo-S is brand-new, it’s unclear if it will slide into the Season 4 meta yet. However, first impressions of the rifle are generally good. It has a terrific damage range and features a moderate fire rate and mobility. Out of any stat, though, the Vargo’s accuracy is its best trait. The recommended loadout for the Vargo-S ensures that accuracy remains high while boosting most other stats.

Best Vargo-S loadout in Warzone
Accuracy, damage, range, and control are the stats that will be increased with the Vargo-S’s top loadout, at least for right now. Mobility and fire rate take a backseat with this loadout because they’re already high enough to compete with other ARs currently in the meta.
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Airzoyan 414mm Custom
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: Mirzoyan ANC
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: 7.62x54mm 60 Round Drum
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
- Perk: Hardscope
- Perk 2: On-Hand
The most important attachments on this loadout are the barrel and stock. These two attachments give the Vargo-S an additional boost in accuracy and damage range while not reducing anything else too drastically. The rest of the loadout mainly focuses on accuracy, ensuring that the Vargo-S won’t be moving too much when players are firing at an enemy in Season 4.
