The best Vargo 52 loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2

A new meta AR in Season 2

Earlier this year, Activision and Treyarch released the Vargo 52 assault rifle in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This was a surprise release, as Black Ops Cold War seemed done with new content due to the release of Vanguard. This was particularly great for Warzone players, as the Vargo 52 has a terrific loadout for Rebirth Island.

Season 2 Reloaded of Warzone introduced a plethora of alterations to Rebirth Island, however. The compact map requires the use of quick-moving and fast-firing weapons. The Vargo 52 was released before Rebirth’s resurgence, so players didn’t think to use it until now. However, it’s a good thing players now realize just how strong the Vargo 52 can be on Rebirth.

For any players that need a loadout for the Vargo 52 in Warzone, keep reading below.

Best Vargo 52 loadout in Warzone

The main meta AR on Rebirth Island up until now has been the XM4. However, Warzone creators experimented with the Vargo 52 and found it can rival and even surpass the XM4. Creators are utilizing the following loadout to dominate with the new Cold War rifle.

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.6″ Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Magazine: Spetsnaz 60 Rnd

These attachments are as meta as they come when using Cold War weapons. The GRU Suppressor and 18.6″ Task Force barrel increase damage range, bullet velocity and recoil control. The Spetsnaz Grip also decreases recoil while the Spetsnaz 60 Round Mag gives players nearly double the bullets to work with. Rounding out the loadout is the tried and true Axial Arms 3x scope for the best clarity at medium to long range.

This Vargo 52 is a menace on Rebirth Island in Warzone Season 2 and players should take full advantage of it.
