In terms of designing a loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone, submachine guns usually aren’t the primary gun of choice for many players. Unless you’re playing on Rebirth Island and want to be especially aggressive, the SMG is usually the second primary weapon in the loadout, provided you’re using the Overkill perk. While some SMGs can be used as the first or only primary, others have trouble holding their own in certain situations. The biggest attribute the Type 100 has over a gun like the MP40, Vanguard’s most popular SMG, is its ability to dominate at longer ranges. The Type 100 has close to no recoil and solid damage, which is required if players want to match an AR at medium-long range. The SMG’s loadout in Season 3 only increases this attribute and boosts other stats to make it more competitive at close-range as well.
