The best Sykov loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4

One of the best pistols in Warzone

At the start of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4, the Sykov was considered the best pistol in the game. Not only that, it was thought to be a top secondary weapon, even among strong shotguns like the Streetsweeper. Once the new season dropped, however, the Sykov dropped down a few pegs thanks to the arrival of the newly buffed AMP63. Although, this doesn’t mean its top loadout needs to be completely forgotten about.

While the AMP63 received the buff, Raven Software only did it so the weapon can compete with the Sykov. Prior to Season 4, the Modern Warfare pistol was extremely powerful and nothing has changed in the new installment. It’s still strong but players are simply using the AMP63 due to its buff.

For any player that wants to continue using the Sykov, though, the recommended loadout hasn’t changed too much.

The aspect that made the Sykov so strong in Warzone was its magazine size. This, paired with the ability to akimbo the pistol, was the reason Raven Software nerfed it so heavily in Season 2. Now, players are better off running the pistol without a large magazine and not in akimbo.

This changes up the recommended loadout a bit. Players now have to make up the extra attachment slot with something else and use a different ammunition attachment.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Sorokin 140mm Auto
  • Laser: 5mW Laser
  • Ammunition: 20 Round Mags
  • Rear Grip: VLK Elita

At the heart of this loadout is the Sorokin 140mm Auto barrel. This allows the Sykov to go fully auto, turning it into a menace on the map. To help with the added recoil of the barrel, the VLK Elita and Monolithic Suppressor are in place. However, if players need to hip fire, the 5mW Laser sight comes in handy.

Lastly, the 20 Round Mags replace the huge 80 Round Drum Mags that Raven Software nerfed. The 20 Round Mags don’t offer as many bullets but still allow players to down an enemy or two. This Sykov loadout still ranks as one of the best secondary weapons in Season 4 of Warzone.
