When it comes to picking an assault rifle in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, your first choice will likely not be the SVA 545. After all, you have the MTZ-556 and the overpowered MCW in front of it, which usually seem like better overall choices. However, if you haven’t given the SVA 545 a chance yet in Modern Warfare 3, I recommend leveling it up so you can equip its strongest overall loadout.
The SVA 545 might look familiar to some of you, especially if you played Black Ops 2. If you were trying to place your finger on it, the SVA 545 is a near-exact replica of the AN-94 assault from BO2. It even comes with the hyper-burst feature that first debuted on the AN-94. This feature allows the SVA’s first two bullets to shoot much quicker than the rest of your bullets, which gives you the opportunity to tap the trigger and achieve an extremely high time-to-kill. Of course, that would all be for nothing if you’re not using the strongest attachments on the SVA.

Best SVA 545 loadout in the Modern Warfare 3 beta
- Muzzle: Casus Brake
- Optic: MK.23 Slate Reflector
- Stock: Markeev R7 Stock
- Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop
- Rear Grip: Citadel Grip
The overall goal of this loadout is to increase the SVA 545’s recoil control. This allows you to be more accurate and hit those first two shots consistently, giving you a higher time-to-kill.

The Casus Brake, XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop, and Markeev R7 Stock all improve accuracy in one way or the other, making your recoil control significantly higher. The Citadel Grip is in place to increase mobility so you can snap onto enemies easier while the Mk.23 Slate Reflector is my optic of choice. If you prefer another red dot, though, you can equip something else. Or, if you like the iron sights of the SVA 545, you can put on another attachment in the place of an optic.
