More often than not, if a weapon is dominant in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, it will succeed in Warzone. This is especially evident with the FFAR, AUG, LC10, etc. but one weapon that’s not usually included in that list is the Stoner 63 light machine gun.
The weapon that tormented Black Ops Cold War multiplayer for months features a terrific loadout in Season 3 of Warzone. However, thanks to the prevalence of the weapons mentioned above, it hasn’t received much attention. That might change when its top loadout is made more popular by the player base.
Best Stoner 63 loadout in Warzone
Like most other light machine guns in Warzone, the Stoner 63 is somewhat mobile but isn’t meant to challenge SMGs or rifles up close. Instead, the Stoner relies on medium-range engagements to prove its usefulness on Verdansk ’84.
That said, just because it isn’t as mobile as other weapons doesn’t mean players should stay stationary with the Stoner 63. Otherwise known as “camping,” remaining still or barely moving with the Stoner is certainly a proven strategy, but not a particularly engaging one.
For players not looking to camp but still use a high-powered weapon that doesn’t move as fast as SMGs or ARs, look no further than this Stoner 63 loadout.
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 21.8″ Task Force
- Optic: Visiontech 2x
- Underbarrel: SFOD Speedgrip
- Ammunition: Salvo 150 Rnd Fast Mag
One of the bigger downsides to the Stoner 63 is that other LMGs in Warzone feature faster handling stats. To compensate for this, the SFOD Speedgrip is in place to ensure players can move faster while running with the Stoner.
The rest of the loadout doesn’t feature any out-of-the-ordinary attachments. The 21.8″ Task Force increases damage, range and bullet velocity while the Agency Suppressor also helps with recoil. Aim down sights time is reduced greatly with the Salvo 150 Rnd Fast Mag but as previously mentioned, this gun should remain at medium to long-range, so ADS time isn’t so important.
With this loadout in hand, players will have a weapon that can eliminate two whole squads in one clip. Pair that with the Stoner 63’s solid damage and improved handling and players have a real threat on the map.
