The best RPD loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5

A high-performing weapon in Season 5

With the Season 5 meta of Call of Duty: Warzone all but decided at this point, various content creators have been delving into the deepest depths of the game to find off-meta weapons worth using. Over the past few weeks, a focal point for these creators has been the light machine gun class, which features a plethora of viable guns in Season 5. Aside from the MG 42, Bren, and others, one creator has identified the RPD and its best loadout as an underrated option in Warzone.

The RPD originates from Black Ops Cold War and is currently among the most unused weapons in all of Warzone. According to the website WZRanked, the RPD has a pick rate of 0.10% in Season 5, which ranks among the lowest out of any gun in the game. However, creator TrueGameData believes the RPD is worthy of a higher pick rate, especially for players looking to drop in to Caldera. However, players shouldn’t do so without the gun’s best set of attachments, which were laid out by TrueGameData in their newest video.

To see the full loadout for the RPD in Warzone Season 5, keep reading below.

Best RPD loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 20.3” Task Force
  • Optic: SUSAT Multizoom
  • Magazine: 120 Round
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

Kicking off the loadout are three standard attachments. The GRU Suppressor and 20.3″ Task Force barrel increase damage range and bullet velocity and help improve recoil control further. The former also keeps players off of the radar when firing. For an optic, TrueGameData has gone with the SUSAT Multizoom, which allows players to pick either medium or long-range gunfights. The loadout is wrapped up by the Serpent Wrap to give players extra mobility while the 120 Round Mag ensures players aren’t reloading very often.

This RPD loadout might not beat the likes of the UGM-8 in Warzone Season 5, but it’s certainly capable of holding its own.
