The best RAAL MG loadout in Modern Warfare 2

A severely underrated loadout in MW2

The light machine gun class in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hasn’t received much attention in the game’s life cycle. This is mainly because of how difficult some of them are to unlock along with the fact that other weapon classes are so powerful. However, if players take the time to unlock any light machine gun, they should unlock the RAAL MG. The RAAL MG is a severely underrated LMG that has a fantastic loadout in Modern Warfare 2.

In multiplayer, the RAAL MG will likely not be too popular. Assault rifles and submachine guns are currently reigning supreme, making LMGs overall somewhat moot. However, many creators and players in the community have predicted that the RAAL will be a top weapon when Warzone 2 releases in two weeks. Players have predicted this due to the fact that the RAAL MG has tremendous stats and a set of attachments that only boost its strengths.

If players have used the RAAL MG before, they will know just how strong the LMG is, especially at medium to long-range. It has very little recoil and a strong damage range, especially when players have equipped the right attachments.

  • Muzzle: FTAC Dreadnought
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Stock: FSS Riot Stock
  • Underbarrel: Demo Narrow Grip

This loadout is primarily focused on increasing damage range and recoil control while decreasing mobility. Since the RAAL MG is an LMG, players shouldn’t expect to be too mobile with it. Instead, they can hang back at a distance, aim down sights, and mow down enemies from afar. If players have to engage at close range, they could be in a bit of trouble.
