The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta features roughly 20 weapons you can use in multiplayer. Out of these 20 weapons, you might be inclined to use some of the assault rifles or submachine guns first. However, if you’re someone who is feeling adventurous, the light machine gun category features a couple of guns that can deal some real damage. One of those LMGs is the Pulemyot 762, which has quite a strong loadout in Modern Warfare 3.
The Pulemyot 762 is one of the more unique LMGs in MW3, as it has a truly distinct sound when firing. If you have played previous Modern Warfare games, you might recognize this gun as a replica of the PKM. It delivers similar performance as that classic LMG, but you need to use a certain set of attachments to get the most out of the Pulemyot 762 in MW3.
To see the best loadout for the Pulemyot 762 in Modern Warfare 3, check out the guide below.
Best Pulemyot 762 loadout in the Modern Warfare 3 beta
- Barrel: Invoker Light Barrel
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Ivanov Bluff Heavy Stock
- Underbarrel: Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip
- Magazine: 75 Round Belt
This loadout is designed to give the Pulemyot 762 a little extra mobility so you can be more mobile with it. However, the attachments I have selected don’t hinder the LMG’s other stats too greatly. It still offers terrific damage range, recoil control, and fire rate.

The Invoker Light Barrel and 75 Round Belt are the main attachments that offer a mobility increase, with the Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip also slightly helping out in that area. The Ivanov Bluff Heavy Stock and the Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip increase recoil control, allowing you to maintain a laser-like accuracy with the Pulemyot 762. The final attachment on the loadout is the Slate Reflector, which is the perfect mid-range sight in MW3.
