Earlier this morning, Raven Software and Treyarch released the Season 4 Reloaded update in Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. Fans had been anticipating this update for many reasons but at the forefront was the arrival of a new weapon. The OTs 9 is a compact submachine gun that can deal a ton of damage but carries a small magazine. It’s an intriguing option in either game but fans are more curious to see how it performs in Warzone.
The early consensus is that the OTs 9 is a solid weapon, dealing an average of around 36 damage per shot. It also has a fairly low recoil, which makes it even more interesting for players. The unlock process for the SMG will either be costly or time-consuming. But, once players have it, they can start creating its loadout, which might shake up the meta.
Best OTs 9 loadout in Warzone
The biggest negative that players will instantly find with the OTs 9 is its magazine size. It carries a base magazine size of 20, which is low for an SMG by any measure. Luckily, this is countered by the weapon having high damage, low recoil and decent range. Also, the magazine size can be immediately increased with the right attachment in place.
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 8.1” Task Force
- Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
- Ammunition: VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
This is one of the most standard loadouts for an SMG in Warzone. It improves almost every important area for the OTs 9, starting with the damage range. The GRU Suppressor and Task Force barrel both boost this stat while also increasing bullet velocity and recoil. To lower this increased recoil, the Spetsnaz Grip ensures that the gun won’t move as much when aiming down sights and firing.
For added mobility, the Serpent Wrap is in place to increase the OTs 9’s ADS time to make close-range gunfights a breeze. Finally, the VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag is the best option for the OTs 9’s magazine problem. It gives the SMG a faster reload and double the ammunition in every clip. This OTs 9 loadout in Warzone is definitely worth using and could become the top SMG in quick order.
