The best MW AUG loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4

An underrated SMG in Season 4

Since the Vanguard integration in Call of Duty: Warzone, the submachine guns from that game have dominated the meta. Whether players are using SMGs as a main weapon or a secondary, the class in Vanguard has been most players’ first choice. While Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare have top weapons, they’re often overlooked, and the same is true in Season 4. If players are looking to use a different weapon, they should look at the Modern Warfare (MW) AUG and its best loadout in Warzone.

Warzone content creators have praised the MW AUG for years, saying it’s one of the fastest-killing SMGs in the entire battle royale. It accomplishes this by possessing an incredibly fast fire rate and above-average damage range. While it might suffer in the recoil control department at range, players should be keeping their gunfights at close range anyway. To get the most out of the MW AUG, though, players need a select loadout of attachments.

The main stat that players want to increase on their MW AUG loadout is mobility. The AUG already has top-notch damage range and fire rate, meaning players can focus on mobility so they can increase their prowess in close-range gunfights.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Optic: G.I. Mini Reflex
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Magazine: 5.56 NATO 60 Round Drum
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

This loadout is somewhat unconventional since it doesn’t employ a barrel attachment. Instead, players will want to use the Tac Laser and Stippled Grip Tape to increase hip-fire accuracy and sprint-to-fire time. These stats greatly improve the MW AUG’s mobility.

While the Vanguard SMGs have dominated the show for months, the MW AUG loadout in Warzone can compete with any other SMG in Season 4.
