The best MW AUG loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded

The submachine gun category in Call of Duty: Warzone has been extremely viable in Season 4. While the Season 4 Reloaded nerfed a large array of SMGs, some of the weaker weapons in the class were buffed in exchange. One of the newly buffed SMGs included in the update is the Modern Warfare AUG.

Since Black Ops Cold War was integrated into Warzone, the MW AUG has been overshadowed by its Cold War counterpart. Although the Cold War version is a tactical rifle, many still preferred using it over the MW AUG, no matter the situation.

That’s over now, though, as Raven Software has continued to nerf the rifle and recently buffed the SMG. This has put the MW AUG on player’s radar to the point where they’re trying out different loadouts. There’s one that every player should try above anything else, however.

Best MW AUG loadout in Warzone

The MW AUG is an all-around solid SMG that had its minimum damage buffed in the Season 4 Reloaded update. The devs took it from 25 to 26, which means players will be able to kill a bit quicker at close range.

• Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
• Barrel: 622mm Long Barrel
• Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
• Ammunition: 5.56 NATO 60-Round Drums
• Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

The recommended loadout for MW AUG in Warzone utilizes damage-range boosting attachments above all else. The Monolithic Suppressor and 622mm Long Barrel maximize this stat along with increasing bullet velocity. For recoil reduction, the Commando Foregrip is a great choice.

As the MW AUG is an SMG, it needs some added mobility as well. The Stippled Grip Tape increases sprint-to-fire time by 30%, which makes the ADS time loss from the 5.56 NATO 60-Round Drum mags negligible. This loadout might not be the best for SMGs in Warzone but it will surely get the job done.
