The Season 4 update for Call of Duty: Vanguard has gone live and unleashed a flurry of new content in both multiplayer and zombies. A part of this content is the Marco-5 submachine gun, which can be unlocked at tier 15 of the Season 4 Battle Pass. This gives players an early opportunity to unlock the weapon and start leveling it up in multiplayer. Once players have the Marco-5 fully leveled up in Vanguard, they can equip its best loadout.

The Marco-5 is a compact submachine gun with an extremely fast fire rate. However, because of this, the SMG has high recoil and lower damage range than you’d like to see on a weapon.

To make up for this, players can use the gun in Akimbo, which means putting a gun in each of the player’s hands. Essentially, you’ll have two Marco-5 guns on the map. This is the first instance of players being able to equip an SMG in Akimbo. To make the most of this feature, though, players need to use the Marco-5’s best loadout in Vanguard.

As one would expect, the Akimbo Proficiency is at the center of the Marco-5 loadout. The attachments around the dual-wielding feature are meant to increase the Marco-5’s ability in close-range gunfights. After all, players won’t really be able to challenge enemies at longer ranges using two weapons at the same time.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Botti 240MM VL
  • Stock: Botti HF Folding
  • Magazine: 8mm Nambu 60 Round Drum
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Proficiency: Akimbo
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

The one issue with running weapons in Akimbo is that players can’t aim down sights with them. As such, players need to ensure their recoil control and hip-fire accuracy are prioritized. That’s what this loadout does above all else, so players will be far more accurate when firing with the Marco-5 in Vanguard.
