The best M1 Garand loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5

The new DMR might be in Warzone

Over the course of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5, several guns have experienced a rebirth of sorts. After not being in the meta for most of Vanguard’s life cycle, these guns have been receiving a fair bit of love in Season 5. One of these guns is the M1 Garand, which has become known around the community as the “DMR 2.0.” For any fan unaware, the DMR is a tactical rifle from Black Ops Cold War that absolutely dominated Warzone in the early stages of 2021. However, the developers nerfed it, leaving fans without a replacement. The M1 Garand and its best loadout in Warzone are the closest things to a replacement in Season 5.

Just like the original DMR from Cold War, the M1 Garand is a single-shot weapon that players can deal a high amount of damage with, provided they hit their shots. The difficulty with the M1 Garand is that it doesn’t have a ton of bullets in each magazine, meaning players might be relying on their secondary weapon more often than they expect. Of course, all of those problems are mitigated if players can accurately hit enemies with their first few shots. To help with that goal, players can utilize the best set of attachments for the M1 Garand in Warzone.

Best M1 Garand loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Cooper 25″ Custom
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Chariot S3 TC
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Magazine: .30-06 30 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Perk: Hardscope
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

The overall goal of this loadout is to eliminate any lingering recoil the M1 Garand has along with increasing its magazine size. Multiple attachments help with reducing recoil while the .30-06 30 Round Mags give players some much-needed breathing room with each magazine. Using this loadout, players should be able to replicate the DMR meta from Warzone’s past.
