The M1 Garand is a common sight with any video game set in the World War II era. As expected, Call of Duty: Vanguard features the classic weapon in multiplayer. However, unlike almost every other weapon available in the game, the M1 Garand was released before Vanguard even came out. Along with the STG44, the Marksman Rifle was available in Warzone to level up prior to Vanguard releasing. This means that some players already have the M1 Garand at max level and can take full advantage of its top loadout in Vanguard.

For players that don’t have the Garand leveled up, they’ll need to take some time before they can make use of its best loadout. The process is worth it though, as the M1 Garand is a powerful rifle when equipped with the right set of attachments in multiplayer.

Best M1 Garand loadout in Vanguard

Like in previous Call of Duty titles, the M1 Garand is a two-shot kill any mostly any range. The problem with it is that it can be difficult to control when firing. Players need attachments to improve recoil control so they can remain on target and hit their shots for some easy kills with the Marksman Rifle.

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Cooper 21” Shrouded
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Chariot S3 TC
  • Underbarrel: Heavy Foregrip
  • Magazine: .30-06 16 Round Drums
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Kit: On-Hand

The loadout begins with the F8 Stabilizer and Cooper 21″ Shrouded barrel to improve both damage range and recoil control. This is followed up by the Chariot S3 TC stock and Heavy Foregrip to reduce weapon sway and add some stability to make the M1 Garand even more accurate.

Finally, the last couple of attachments are the Polymer Grip for improved flinch resistance and the Vital Proficiency for extra critical hit damage. Players will have little trouble with this M1 Garand loadout provided they can hit their shots.
