The pick-rate for weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 has been all over the place. From players wanting to switch up the meta to different guns being recommended by streamers, players have been picking a wide assortment of weapons in Season 3. One weapon that has remained near the top of the pick rate, however, has been the LAPA submachine gun. The LAPA is one of the best close-range weapons in Warzone and has a dominant loadout to reflect that assertion.
With so many players hopping on Rebirth Island recently, the need for a close-range beast like the LAPA has been ever-growing. The LAPA shoots extremely fast and has amazing mobility, making it a perfect candidate to dominate the close-knit engagements that are so common on Rebirth in Warzone. In order to get the most out of the LAPA, though, players need to use the correct set of attachments.
Best LAPA loadout in Warzone Season 3
While the LAPA might be best served on Rebirth Island, it’s also plenty useful on Caldera as a backup weapon to a sniper or assault rifle. Players can deal long-range damage with their rifle and then head into a close-quarters fire fight with the LAPA and easily take out several enemies. This is mainly thanks to the recommended loadout for the LAPA that’s been in use since Season 2.

The main goal of this loadout is to increase the LAPA’s damage range, bullet velocity and mobility. The Agency Suppressor and 7.9″ Rifled barrel accomplish the former while the Raider Stock takes care of any mobility concerns. Finally, the 50 Rnd magazine allows players to take on multiple enemies at once without having to reload quickly.
