Shotguns have always had a strange place within the meta of Call of Duty Mobile. As with shotguns in other FPS titles, shotguns in COD Mobile can either be blatantly overpowered or downright weak. However, over the past few years, the developers have struck a decent balance, with no one shotgun overtaking multiplayer. Although, if players want to use the best shotgun in COD Mobile, they would have to equip the KRM-262.
The Black Ops 3 shotgun has been firmly in the mix for the best shotgun in multiplayer for some time. The stats for the KRM blow any other shotgun out of the water. Of course, this kind of performance just doesn’t happen with the base gun.

Best KRM-262 gunsmith loadout in COD Mobile
Once you reach level 43 in COD Mobile, you can unlock the KRM-262 and get to work leveling it up. The recommended attachments for the gun take some time to grind for but they’re ultimately worth it. The top loadout for the KRM-262 utilizes a mix of mobility and damage range attachments to make for a devastating close-range weapon choice.
- Muzzle:Â Marauder Suppressor
- Barrel:Â Extended Barrel (+2)
- Stock: RTC Steady Stock
- Laser:Â MIP Laser 5mW
- Rear Grip:Â Firm Grip Tape
The first two attachments, the Marauder Suppressor and Extended Barrel (+2), both increase damage range and bullet spread density. These are important shotgun attachments that allow players to one-hit enemies more often. However, both attachments lower ADS speed.
Fortunately, there is an attachment on the loadout that improves that stat. The Firm Grip Tape increases the KRM’s mobility by improving ADS speed, enabling players to bring the gun up quicker. For some added stability, the RTC Steady Stock is in place.
The final attachment on this KRM-262 loadout is the MIP Laser 5mW, which improves hip-fire accuracy for those super tight close-range engagements. No enemy player in COD Mobile should be able to stop this KRM-262 loadout in close-range.
