The best Kastov-74u loadout in Warzone

The Kastov-74u has always been one of the better assault rifles in Call of Duty: Warzone, but it’s never truly broken into the meta of the game. It has always been up against fierce competition in the assault rifle class, and this has been reflected in its pick rate throughout the game’s life cycle. While the Kastov-74u might not be a meta weapon in Warzone, it does have a solid loadout you can use if you’re looking to switch things up.

Sometimes, it can get boring running the same two guns in Warzone, so I personally enjoy throwing on a weapon like the Kastov-74u, which is strong enough to compete with meta weapons. However, to ensure you don’t get slaughtered by something like the Kastov 762, you need to use the absolute best attachments for the gun.

Best Kastov-74u loadout in Warzone

The Kastov-74u can be used either as a submachine gun or assault rifle, depending on the player’s preference. My loadout for the gun is more catered toward mobility, meaning it might be better suited as an SMG. However, even with those attachments, the 74u can eliminate enemies at long range with no issues.

• Muzzle: RF Crown 50
• Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
• Stock: Markeev R7 Stock
• Rear Grip: True Tac Grip
• Ammunition: 5.45 High Velocity

The first two attachments, the RF Crown 50 and FTAC Ripper 56, help out with recoil control and stability to make the 74u even stronger at mid-long range. Then, there are two attachments, the Markeev R7 Stock and True Tac Grip, to vastly improve mobility.

Finally, I have the 5.45 High Velocity ammo equipped to improve bullet velocity, which really brings the whole loadout together. While the Kastov-74u is not one of the meta assault rifles in Warzone, this loadout makes the gun competitive with those meta guns.
