The Season 1 Reloaded update arrived last week in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, and it changed several of the game’s weapons. No meta guns were touched, in a surprising twist, but other non-meta weapons were given some slight buffs. One of the main guns to receive a buff was the Kastov 545, which was previously seen as a beginner’s gun that was extremely easy to use.
However, with its buff in Season 1 Reloaded, the Kastov 545 very well could have a meta loadout in Warzone 2.
The Kastov 545 has played second fiddle to its older brother, the Kastov 762, since Warzone 2 was released. The 762 simply deals more damage, giving it a higher time-to-kill, in Warzone 2, and that’s what players ultimately want in their weapon of choice. It seems the developers are attempting to make the 545 more competitive with the 762, though, as they buffed the 545’s damage range in Season 1 Reloaded.
If you’re looking to give the Kastov 545 a try now that it’s been buffed, you’ll want its best set of attachments.
Best Kastov 545 loadout in Warzone 2
The exact buffs for the Kastov 545 in Season 1 Reloaded are viewable below:
- Increase to muzzle velocity
- Small decrease to hip spread
- Increase close damage
- Increase to chest damage multiplier
It wasn’t the biggest of buffs, but the increase to the damage multiplier and close damage are notable. If players use the Kastov 545 correctly, they should see an increase in their time-to-kill. The best loadout for the Kastov 545 will also boost TTK.
- Muzzle: Harbinger D20
- Barrel: IG-K30 406MM
- Optic: AIM OP-V4
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Magazine: 60 Round Mag
The loadout begins with two attachments, the Harbinger D20 and IG-K30 406MM, to drastically boost the Kastov 545’s damage range, recoil control, and bullet velocity. That’s followed up by the FTAC Ripper 56 for added control and stability and the 60 Round Mag to ensure you’re not having to reload often.
