Rebirth Island has experienced a serious resurgence in Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone thank to updates from Raven Software. The map plays far differently than Caldera, as it’s extremely close-quarters and hectic at nearly all times.
To adapt to the changes, players have experimented with different guns to see what works best on Rebirth. Some players have discovered that an old shotgun, the JAK-12, has one of the best loadouts when it comes to Warzone Season 2 on Rebirth Island.
The JAK-12 was once the meta in Warzone, players have since passed it over for other shotguns like the Vanguard Double Barrel. However, now the JAK-12 and its semi-automatic rate of fire are beyond useful on the updated, close-quarters map. Of course, players will still need to equip the gun’s best loadout if they want to maximize their success in Season 2.
Best JAK-12 loadout in Warzone
The recommended loadout for the JAK-12 aims to increase damage range and tighten up the gun’s pellet spread. That means players need to be more accurate. If they are, then they’ll deal even more damage than they would have originally. The best JAK-12 loadout in Season of Warzone is as follows:
- Muzzle:Â FORGE TAC Marauder
- Barrel:Â ZLR J-3600 Torrent
- Laser:Â 5mW Laser
- Ammunition:Â 20 Round Drum Mags
- Perk:Â Sleight of Hand
The FORCE TAC Marauder and ZLR J-3600 Torrent are the main attachments on this loadout. Together, they increase the gun’s damage range and tighten the its pellet spread.
To help with hip-fire accuracy, the 5mW Laser is perfect. This will make hitting those tighter shots more feasible, allowing players to take advantage of the extra damage range.
The loadout is rounded out by the 20 Round Drum Mags to give players a plethora of shots in each clip. When players need to reload, they can do so quickly with the Sleight of Hand perk.
Put it all together and this JAK-12 loadout could potentially wreak major havoc on Rebirth Island if more players begin to use it.
