The assault rifle category in Call of Duty: Vanguard currently holds the most weapons out of any in multiplayer. There are five guns in the class but the ITRA Burst rifle stands out from the rest. It is the only burst-fire weapon in Vanguard, as it was rare for guns in the mid-1900s to feature the firing mechanic. However, it wouldn’t be Call of Duty without a burst weapon and the ITRA packs a punch with its recommended loadout in Vanguard.
The biggest attraction with any burst weapon is its potential time-to-kill. As it fires multiple bullets at once, the ITRA has the possibility of killing in just two presses of the trigger. Of course, this also means that players have a higher chance to miss some bullets. There’s always a tradeoff when using burst weapons but, if players can master the ITRA, they’ll have a powerhouse in their hands.
Best ITRA Burst loadout in Vanguard
As with any burst weapon, the ITRA Burst is best served at longer ranges. It will be outclassed in close-range by any SMG or fast-firing AR. This means the recommended loadout for the ITRA features range and recoil attachments that maximize its main strengths.
- Muzzle:Â F8 Stabilizer Muzzle
- Barrel:Â Botti 300mm CXII
- Optic:Â Slate Reflector
- Stock:Â Botti DII Grip
- Underbarrel:Â M3 Ready Grip
- Magazine: 8mm Jaeger 32-Rnd Drums
- Ammo Type:Â Hollow Point
- Rear Grip:Â Fabric Grip
- Proficiency:Â Vital
- Kit:Â Fully Loaded
The standard attachment slots on this ITRA Burst loadout are full of expected attachments. The muzzle, barrel, stock and underbarrel all maximize the ITRA’s ability at long-range through increasing damage range and lowering recoil.
The real meat of the loadout comes in the latter half of it. With the Hollow Point Ammo Type, players can miss their mark on an enemy’s body and still do solid damage. This is paired perfectly with the Vital Proficiency, which increases the critical hit chance on an enemy. Given how burst weapons can be a little more inaccurate at times, these attachments give players some leeway in aiming the ITRA Burst.
