The best Holger 26 loadout in Modern Warfare 3 beta

A respectable LMG

There are two light machine guns in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta, and both are relatively easy to use. Of course, you have to deal with the normal shortcomings that accompany using an LMG, which is primarily a lack of mobility. Luckily, if you’re trying to use an LMG more like an assault rifle, the Holger 26 offers more of a balance in Modern Warfare 3, especially with its top loadout.

The Holger 26 is the first LMG that you unlock in MW3 and it has terrific damage and range while its mobility and fire rate are a bit lackluster compared to other rifles in multiplayer. However, with the right set of attachments, the Holger 26 can actually be a solid mid to long-range weapon.

To see the best loadout for the Holger 26 in Modern Warfare 3, check out the guide below.

Best Holger 26 loadout in the Modern Warfare 3 beta

  • Muzzle: HMRES Mod Suppressor
  • Barrel: Ascent Lord Heavy Barrel
  • Optic: MK.23 Slate Reflector
  • Stock: RB Crotalus Assault Stock
  • Rear Grip: Morn 20 Grip

This loadout is designed to give the Holger 26 more of an advantage at longer ranges to deal with those pesky MCW players. The first two attachments on the loadout help with that tremendously. The HMRES Mod Suppressor keeps you off the radar when firing as well as increases bullet velocity while the Ascent Lord Heavy Barrel improves recoil control and damage range.

The optic I went with is the MK.23 Slate Reflector, which is great for close to mid-range gunfights. Rounding out the loadout is the RB Crotalus Assault Stock, which increases aiming stability, and the Morn 20 Grip. The Morn 20 Grip improves your overall mobility so you can bring your gun up faster and snap onto enemies easier.
