The best FSS Hurricane loadout for Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play

A decent SMG in Ranked

So far in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play, no other submachine gun has challenged the Vaznev-9K yet. While the Lachmann Sub is the next SMG that players will most likely see in their Ranked killfeed, the majority of players are still using the Vaznev. This doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon, but if players are looking for an off-meta SMG to use, they won’t have to look far. The FSS Hurricane is a terrific alternative to the Vaznev, as it has an incredibly mobile loadout for Ranked that allows players to fly around the map.

As the FSS Hurricane is so mobile, I don’t really need to worry about many mobility-boosting attachments on its loadout. While there are definitely some attachments that do make your gun faster, recoil control is a more important stat to improve since it gives you the chance to fight enemies at mid-range more effectively.

To see the full loadout for the FSS Hurricane in Ranked Play, keep reading below.

Best FSS Hurricane loadout for MW2 Ranked Play

  • Muzzle: AVR-T90 Comp
  • Underbarrel: Agent Grip
  • Stock: Demo Quicksilver Stock
  • Rear Grip: XTEN Grip

The first two attachments on this loadout handle any recoil concerns you might have had. The AVR-T90 Comp and the Agent Grip both improve accuracy while slightly reducing mobility. Speaking of mobility, the next two attachments make the FSS Hurricane even faster on the map. Both the Demo Quicksilver Stock and the XTEN Grip see your ADS and sprint-to-fire times make a huge leap.

I have also chosen not to equip a barrel on the loadout, as the options have too many negatives for me to consider using them in a competitive environment. There is also no optic on the loadout, but if you want to equip a sight, I recommend a basic red dot sight. This can be either the Slimline Pro, Cronen Mini Pro, or something similar.

The FSS Hurricane doesn’t get used much in Ranked Play, but as time goes on, we could see this loadout become more popular.
