The best Fennec loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3

An oft-ignored SMG in Season 3 makes a comeback

As Season 3 winds down in Call of Duty: Warzone, players have started to use weapons that weren’t considered in the meta for the entire season. These weapons mainly originate from Modern Warfare, which doesn’t see many updates to its guns anymore. This means guns that were strong back in 2020 and 2021 remain solid in 2022. One Modern Warfare weapon that players should try out in Season 3 is the Fennec, which possesses one of the best time-to-kills in all of Warzone thanks to this loadout.

Veterans of Warzone will remember how strong the Fennec was in the first seasons of the game. It has an extremely high fire rate, which allows it to kill enemies in the blink of an eye. However, with such a high fire rate, the gun’s recoil and damage range do slightly suffer as a result. With the right loadout, though, players can mitigate those losses and make the Fennec one of the best SMGs in Warzone.

According to the website WZRanked, the Fennec currently has a 0.26 pick rate in Warzone as of Season 3. That’s dreadfully low, and should be higher due to the power the Fennec can possess with the right attachments. It’s best served as a backup weapon to a strong assault rifle, such as the Oden, which is also from Modern Warfare. Players with this loadout can head into any close-range gunfight and immediately have the upper hand due to the Fennec’s high time-to-kill.

  • Barrel: ZLR 18” Deadfall
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Magazine: 40 Round Drum Mags

This loadout aims to increase the mobility of the Fennec while also boosting damage range. Since players won’t be using the gun at range, they don’t really need to worry about recoil control too much. Using the gun in close-range makes this loadout extremely lethal and can best any other SMG or shotgun in Warzone as long as players hit their shots.
