There are two burst assault rifles in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the DG-58 and the FR 5.56. While the FR 5.56 is a strong weapon, it can’t compare to the DG-58 in MW3, which has an outstanding loadout that can one-burst enemies from any range.
The DG-58 is a three-round burst assault rifle that has a terrific fire rate, recoil control, and damage range. The only thing that can hold you back from succeeding with it is your control with a burst weapon. If you miss some of your bursts, then you’ll likely be outgunned by an enemy with a fully automatic weapon. To make sure that doesn’t happen, you need the absolute strongest attachments on the DG-58.
To see the best loadout for the DG-58 in MW3, keep reading the guide below.
Best DG-58 loadout in MW3
- Muzzle: Casus Brake
- Barrel: CDG T-25 Light Barrel
- Optic: MK. 3 Reflector
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
- Rear Grip: Varanus Steady Grip
This loadout is fully focused on improving the recoil control of the DG-58 in MW3. I have equipped the Casus Brake to eliminate horizontal recoil and the Bruen Heavy Support Grip and Varanus Steady Grip to increase gun kick control and vertical recoil.
The CDG T-25 Light Barrel helps with bullet velocity and damage range for those long-range gunfights while the MK. 3 Reflector is the best overall optic for assault rifles. However, if you want to use the iron sights of the DG-58, I suggest replacing that attachment slot with a stock or comb attachment.
Best Class Setup for the DG-58
Now, I’ll list the other aspects that go into the DG-58’s loadout, including the best perks, equipment, and Field Upgrade to use.
- Gloves: Marksman Gloves
- Boots: Covert Sneakers
- Gear: Tac Mask/EOD Padding/Ghost T/V Camo
- Lethal: Frag Grenade
- Tactical: Stim
- Trophy System
