Since last week’s huge weapon balancing update, Call of Duty: Warzone is no longer, what fans deemed, a “DMRZone.” The dominance of the DMR 14 tactical rifle is no more, and as such, players are looking for a new weapon to shred Verdansk with. While the best weapon currently in Warzone is the FFAR according to many, the CR-56 AMAX is another viable option players have been testing out. The CR-56 was a popular choice earlier in the year but fell behind some of the other prominent rifles. However, now it’s making a return, and fans want to know what its best loadout is.
Best CR-56 AMAX loadout in WarzoneÂ
The CR-56 AMAX is an all-around solid assault rifle that doesn’t feature any glaring weaknesses. Bearing a resemblance to the Galil, the CR-56 excels at medium range and can be proficient at either long or close range with the correct attachments. Although, if you place the wrong attachments on the weapon, it can become porous at medium range, turning it into a one-trick pony.
To avoid this mistake, there are several attachments you can throw on the rifle to ensure you have the best chance of success in Warzone. The loadout below features most of these attachments but some can be swapped out for others depending on personal preference.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
- Magazine: 45 Round Mags
This loadout for the CR-56 AMAX is quite balanced all around. It doesn’t feature any crippling attachments that will hinder your ability to down an enemy at a certain range. However, it also doesn’t excel in any one area besides medium range. It’s simply balanced and should provide you with everything you need to eliminate any enemy you see in Verdansk.
