Call of Duty
There were dozens of weapons altered in the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 update; some of these changes were huge, while others were relatively smaller changes in either direction. One of the weapons to receive a relatively small change was the Cooper Carbine assault rifle from Vanguard. Once upon a time, this AR was one of the most popular weapons in Warzone. However, after other weapons, like the STG44 and NZ-41, stole the spotlight, the Cooper began to drop in pick rate. With a new buff, though, the loadout for the Cooper Carbine should come back in full force in Warzone.
With Season 4, the Cooper Carbine saw its maximum and minimum damage increased by one and two points respectively. The Cooper Carbine also had its recoil intensity reduced so players can rely less on the popular Tight Grip attachment. The gun also saw a few of its meta attachments buffed, which provide great stat boosts when players equip those specific attachments. This actually changes the Cooper Carbine’s loadout from previous Warzone seasons.
Best Cooper Carbine loadout in Warzone
There are three different changes in the recommended loadout for the Cooper Carbine, which players can see below.
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Gracey Rapid
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: Cooper 45RS
- Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 9mm 60 Round Drums
- Ammunition: Compressed Rounds
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Perk 1: Brace
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
The three big changes here are the Gracey Rapid barrel, Compressed Rounds ammunition, and the Brace perk. The former attachments in their place were the 22″ Cooper Custom barrel, Lengthened ammunition, and the Tight Grip perk. In Season 4, the Gracey Rapid saw its headshot damage multiplier increased while its upper torso damage, horizontal recoil and vertical recoil penalties were also removed, making it much stronger in both damage and recoil control.
The Compressed Rounds ammunition had its vertical and horizontal recoil control buffed to accommodate for the Tight Grip perk being nerfed. With Tight Grip nerfed, we went with the Brace perk, which also offers extra recoil control. All of this together makes the Cooper Carbine extremely accurate and a little stronger in Warzone Season 4.
