The best Cooper Carbine loadout in Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1

The new AR has a deadly loadout

Season 1 of Call of Duty: Vanguard is going live on Dec. 9 for all players. However, before that happens, players can get acquainted with the season’s new content. The two new weapons in Season 1, the Cooper Carbine and Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle, are usable in custom games. This gave the community a chance to come up with some early top loadouts for the weapons. The first weapon that attracted players’ attention is the Cooper Carbine, which has a comically strong loadout in Vanguard.

The Cooper Carbine is a hybrid submachine gun and assault rifle. Although classified as an assault rifle, it features a fire rate that might make players think otherwise. With the right loadout in Vanguard, the Cooper Carbine can have an even higher fire rate while not compromising too much on accuracy and damage.

In its base form, the Cooper Carbine has a tremendously high fire rate paired with a solid amount of recoil. Its mobility and damage are strong, though. This means that players only have to focus on ensuring that the AR doesn’t kick too much when firing. The recommended loadout for the Cooper Carbine brings its recoil down while also increasing its fire rate.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: 22″ Cooper Custom
  • Stock: Cooper 45RS
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Magazine: .30 Carbine 45 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
  • Proficiency: Brace
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

For starters, the Recoil Booster increases the Cooper Carbine’s fire rate by two points. This makes it shoot extremely fast but the recoil is high when equipping this attachment. The recoil is further increased with the .30 Carbine 45 Round Mags, but the extra damage and bullet velocity are too strong to pass up.

Luckily, the loadout boasts attachments like the Carver Foregrip, Pine Tar Grip, 22″ Cooper Custom barrel, Brace and Cooper 45RS stock. All of these attachments reduce the gun’s recoil and make it much more controllable. The Cooper Carbine is arguably a top AR with this loadout in Vanguard Season 1.
