The best C58 loadout in Black Ops Cold War Season 4

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War added another assault rifle to the Season 4 mix: the C58. This new rifle is one of the more unique guns in Cold War, featuring high damage and steady recoil. It doesn’t come with a ton of starting bullets and it has a slower bullet velocity compared to other ARs. However, it’s gotten much use in Warzone, giving hope to some players that its ability will transfer to multiplayer.

Although that’s not the case with the base gun, the C58 can be one of the better ARs in the game with a high-powered loadout.

Since the C58 features two weaker areas — magazine capacity and bullet velocity — the gun’s recommended loadout focuses on those stats more than others. Of course, there are still the traditional attachments that increase damage range, accuracy and recoil. But, unlike other loadouts, those attachments aren’t the priority in the C58’s loadout. Still, for veterans of Cold War, the loadout will look familiar.

Starting with the key areas, bullet velocity is greatly increased with this loadout. Both the Agency Suppressor and 18.7″ Ranger provide a huge bump to the stat, making the C58 much more viable at medium to long-range. Next, the magazine capacity is increased with the Salvo 30 Rnd Fast Mag, as is the reload speed. While the ADS speed is reduced, players shouldn’t necessarily need a fast ADS speed with the C58.

Wrapping up the loadout is the Field Agent Grip, which further reduces the recoil, and the Microflex LED to give players the option of playing at any range. With these key and supporting attachments, this C58 loadout can be among the best in a player’s Cold War repertoire.
