The meta in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4, especially the long-range meta, is in a bit of a tizzy as of right now. The community is awaiting another nerf for the dominant NZ-41, which is still quite strong even after Raven Software nerfed it last week. Players are waiting for that ball to drop so they can look at other long-range options in Season 4. Recently, Warzone expert JGOD went into which guns players should target once the next NZ-41 nerf does get handed down. Among the top options is the Bruen MK9 light machine gun, which still has a great loadout in Warzone.
Once upon a time, the Bruen MK9 was the most dominant weapon in Warzone. Raven Software took what seemed like an eternity to nerf the light machine gun, leading to it running rampant on the streets of Verdansk for the first several months of Warzone’s life cycle. Of course, since then the gun has been nerfed a few times, and now it sits right in the middle of the pack of guns. However, it still stands out at long range, as it doesn’t have much recoil and possesses a solid time-to-kill at further ranges.
To see the full loadout for the Bruen MK9 in Warzone Season 4, keep reading below.
Best Bruen MK9 loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle:Â Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: XRK Summit 26.8″
- Underbarrel:Â Commando Foregrip
- Optic:Â Corp Combat Holo Sight
- Ammunition:Â 60 Round Mags
The recommended loadout for the Bruen MK9 hasn’t changed in some time, but there are key reasons for that. This loadout provides a boost to damage range, bullet velocity, recoil control and mobility. Aside from the mobility increase by using the 60 Round Mags, players can use all of those stat boosts to make the Bruen lethal at long range. While it’s not quite the best option in Warzone as of right now, perhaps a few nerfs in the future will change that.
