For most of Season 1 and 2, the Bren light machine gun has dominated the playing field of Call of Duty: Warzone. When Vanguard integrated with the game, the developers seemingly forgot to balance the Bren. It had virtually no recoil, could kill extremely quickly and moved fairly well for an LMG. While the developers eventually nerfed the Bren, it still possesses a loadout that can demolish enemies in Season 2 of Warzone.
The Season 2 Reloaded update in Warzone caused a minor shake-up in the meta. A new weapon, the Armaguerra 43, entered the game and Rebirth Island became the most popular map. Rebirth’s resurgence led players to use weapons more tailored for that map. However, luckily for players who still stand by the Bren, this LMG can be used in any situation on any map.
Best Bren loadout in Warzone
Bren players will know exactly how to use the weapon in Warzone. It has tremendous range and damage, meaning players should keep it at around 20 meters and beyond. Of course, thanks to the Bren’s surprising mobility, it can also be utilized at close-range if players don’t have a solid secondary weapon on them.
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Queen’s 705mm Royal
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: Empress Crown
- Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 6.5 Sakura 40 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Perk: Tight Grip
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
This loadout further increases the Bren’s strongest attributes. Its recoil control, bullet velocity, damage range and flinch resistance are all boosted. While its magazine size is reduced thanks to the 6.5 Sakura 40 Round Mags, players likely won’t notice since they will be killing enemies so quickly. The biggest attachment on this loadout is the Queen’s 705mm Royal barrel, which completely eliminates damage range drop off.
Whether players are on Caldera or Rebirth Island, this Bren loadout will serve them well in Season 2 of Warzone.
