The AS VAL has been among the most popular weapons in COD Mobile since its release in Season 2. Players could unlock it through the season’s Battle Pass and, as soon as they did, they found their new go-to weapon. A hybrid between an AR and SMG, the AS VAL is perfect for almost any situation in COD Mobile. The weapon’s recommended loadout only furthers this versatility in Season 6 of the mobile title.
There’s a simple way to unlock the AS VAL. If players didn’t unlock it through the Season 2 Battle Pass, they can get 30 headshots while using assault rifles in COD Mobile. On the loadout screen, players can click on a gun, then assault rifles and scroll all the way to the end of the choices. The AS VAL will appear here along with the player’s progress to the 30 headshots. After the required number has been hit, players can begin leveling it up and designing the best loadout.
Best AS VAL loadout in COD Mobile
There are some key areas that players must address with the AS VAL’s loadout. For starters, the gun’s base magazine size is a problem. Players will want to address that as quickly as possible, which can be done rather easily in the recommended loadout.

To deal with the low magazine size, the Large Extended Mag B is in place. This gives players some much-needed bullets in the clip. For damage purposes, the MIP 200mm Mid-Range Barrel is a perfect choice. This increases damage range by 20%.
Since the AS VAL is also used as an SMG of sorts, a mobility attachment is also in use. The OWC Laser – Tactical provides extra mobility, boosting ADS speed and bullet spread accuracy. The latter stat is reduced, though, by the YKM Combat Stock. However, vertical recoil is stabilized in compensation. The Rubberized Grip Tape also helps with this area, making this AS VAL loadout a laser beam in COD Mobile Season 6.
