The best AMR9 loadout in Modern Warfare 3 beta

Not meta, but not bad either

For many players during the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta, the AMR9 is a submachine gun that won’t be unlocked for much of the leveling process. However, if you pre-ordered the Vault Edition of the game, then the SMG is available right from the get-go in the form of a blueprint. In any case, once you unlock the AMR9 in Modern Warfare 3, you’ll find it has quite a nice loadout.

The one issue with the AMR9 as of right now is that it’s in the same class as the Striker, which is arguably the top overall weapon in the beta. Nothing can compare to the Striker at this point, which is a reason why you don’t see many AMR9s littering the battlefield. If you unlock the AMR9 and want to give it a go, though, you need to ensure you’re using its best set of attachments to try and knock off anyone using a Striker.

Best AMR9 loadout in the Modern Warfare 3 beta

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Optic: MK.23 Reflector
  • Stock: Dav15 Light Tactical Stock
  • Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop
  • Rear Grip: Phantom Grip

The primary goal of this loadout is to increase the AMR9’s base mobility. With its mobility increased, you can keep engagements close and deal tons of damage to enemies without having to control the AMR9’s recoil.

However, I did throw on both the Monolithic Suppressor and the MK.23 Reflector optic for any mid-range gunfights you do find yourself in. The suppressor will increase damage range, recoil control, and keep you off the enemy’s radar when firing. The optic is in place solely because I don’t like the iron sights on the AMR9, but you might feel differently, so feel free to swap that out with something else if that’s your preference.
