The best AK-47 loadout in Black Ops Cold War Season 3

Always a popular weapon in Call of Duty

The AK-47 has been one of the most consistent weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It hasn’t been nerfed or buffed to a significant extent, which has made it a steady option for players throughout the game’s life cycle so far.

However, the AK-47 has been a staple of players’ loadouts due to the number of blueprints for it. Treyarch continuously introduces incredible blueprints for the AK-47, which has kept the weapon in players’ minds for the duration of Black Ops Cold War.

The latest blueprint installment for the AK might just be the best yet. Featured in the new “Angels and Demons Reactive Anime” bundle is the Cursed Angel blueprint for the AK. And, because it looks so incredible, players are flocking back to the AK-47. Some fans may need a refresher on the gun’s best loadout.

Unlike other Call of Duty titles, the Cold War’s Ak-47 can be used both as an SMG and an AR. It features little recoil, consistent damage and great mobility for a rifle. This slightly changes up the loadout when compared to other assault rifles.

  • Muzzle: KGB Eliminator
  • Barrel: 20″ Liberator
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Magazine: 40 Rnd
  • Handle: GRU Elastic Wrap

While the AK-47 doesn’t possess a surplus of recoil, it’s wise to equip some attachments to further increase accuracy. The KGB Eliminator and Spetsnaz Grip are wonderful options to reduce both the vertical and horizontal recoil.

For some extra bullet velocity, the 20″ Liberator comes into play. Though some might opt for damage-increasing attachments, this competitive attachment will improve the AK-47 by a good margin.

Finally, the 40 Rnd magazine gives players some additional bullets in the clip. The GRU Elastic Wrap also increases ADS time to help snap onto enemies quicker.
