Throughout the life cycle of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, there have been few weapons more polarizing than the 725. As a double-barreled shotgun, it was at one point arguably the strongest weapon in Call of Duty history. After some nerfs, though, the 725 has seen a steep fall from grace.
In Season 2 of Warzone, a loadout for the 725 has surfaced that thrusts the shotgun back into the limelight. The loadout essentially turns the close-range weapon into a sniper with the ability to kill enemies across Verdansk. This can be done with one bullet from the 725, which is even more impressive.
Best 725 loadout in Warzone
This specific loadout for the 725 comes from TikTok, where one user was able to discover the shotgun’s broken abilities. In the past, the 725 was able to kill enemies across the map with a single bullet. But, it was thought that Infinity Ward and Raven Software had nerfed that out of the weapon.
They seemingly didn’t do enough, though, as the 725 is alive and well in Season 2 of Warzone. Players are utilizing the loadout from TikTok to snipe enemies from dozens of meters away. YouTuber and streamer Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar even tried the 725 loadout and discovered how broken it really is.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Tempus 32″ Competition
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Ammunition: Slug Rounds
- Guard: FORGE TAC Commander
The aspect that makes this loadout tick is the Slug Rounds ammunition attachment. This turns the 725’s bullets into single slugs that offer far more damage but reduce the accuracy since the weapon now needs to be absolutely precise.
The Monolithic Suppressor and Tempus 32″ Competition barrel make the Slug Rounds even more powerful. Both attachments increase range. The latter also increases muzzle velocity to make the slugs travel faster.
The Ranger Foregrip and FORGE TAC Commander round out the loadout to stabilize the 725’s recoil and make the shots even deadlier at range.
Many players in the community have doubted the effectiveness of the 725’s loadout in Warzone. Once the weapon was used in Verdansk, however, most of those doubters turned into believers.
