Sprout signs oskar to partially rebuild CSGO roster

Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný has been signed by Sprout to fill one of the two vacant positions following the departure of Florian “syrsoN” Rische and Nils “k1to” Gruhne. Sprout is still in need of one more player in order to be competitively active on the CSGO scene.

oskar joins the German Sprout

Filled with German players, the Czech AWP-er has officially come on board. The veteran has been formerly present on the HellRaisers team, but his contract expired and was not renewed. However, oskar is mostly known from his time on mousesports. Wielding the main AWP-er role on the European team, the 28-year-old was named 16th best player in the world in 2017 and 14th in the 2018 season by HLTV. Additionally, oskar received two MVP awards while on the mousesports roster at V4 Future Sports Festival 2018 and ESG Tour Mykonos in 2017 respectively. Hopefully, he can replicate his world-grade performance at his new organization.

Sprout in need of one more to revitalize roster

The organization had a rough end of the year. With syrsoN and k1to ultimately leaving the team in December to form a new BIG Clan roster, Sprout was left with two vacancies. Now the team is in need of one more player to fill the hole so that the team can compete once again. The current roster looks as follows:

  • Josef “faven” Baumann
  • Denis “denis” Howell
  • Timo “Spiidi” Richter
  • Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný
  • Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn (coach)

The team will probably pick up its final player quite soon. Sprout is supposed to attend DreamHack Open Leipzig in late January. Without a fifth player, their presence will naturally be impossible. On home territory, it would be a shame for the German team not to make the tournament.
