South Korean mid laner Lee “Ruby” Sol-min has signed with Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition (the sister team to Unicorns of Love in the Prime League), sources told Upcomer.
Ruby is a player with League of Legends Pro League experience. In 2020, he played two splits with Rogue Warriors. The results, however, weren’t brilliant, as Ruby’s team finished in fifteenth place both in spring and summer of that year.
This year, Ruby played with BOOM Esports in the Pacific Championship Series, where he managed to make it into playoffs for both splits. Despite those average results, Ruby ranked pretty well statistically among mid laners of his region.
Unicorns of Love own two League of Legends teams; one in the CIS region who had several qualifications to the League of Legends World Championship, and another (Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition) who compete in the European Regional Leagues.
Ruby isn’t the first player from South Korea coming into ERLs this offseason. DWG KIA’s former substitute mid laner Kim “RangJun” Sang-joon has signed with Elyandra Mirage as first reported by Upcomer.
