Veteran-ranked players or higher are eligible to participate in the qualifying tournaments. Activision will be giving registration and progression rewards to eligible players. As of right now, the rewards are a mystery but still exciting to interested players.

In addition to being a Veteran rank or higher, players must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Players must also have a clean track record within the Call of Duty: Mobile community. Players interested in the event can check out the Call of Duty: Mobile website for more information.

How to participate in the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020

Eligible players can participate in the tournament by entering one of four online open qualifier tournaments beginning the weekend of April 30. Here is how Activision and Tencent explain it:

For each of the four weekends, once you click “Sign Up” in game, the tournament will go live and the first ten ranked matches you play will earn you tournament points. Tournament points are based on individual wins and your current rank; the higher your rank the more points you receive for a win. If you reach 80 points within the first ten ranked matches in any weekend you qualify on to Stage 2. Players must compete on an eligible handset and may not use an external device or attachment of any kind that modifies the game’s controls (e.g. bluetooth controllers, wired controllers, mouse, keyboard, etc.) without the express consent of the Administration.

In stage 2, players have to create a team out of fellow stage 2 qualifiers and continue playing online matches together. The Call of Duty: Mobile website will update throughout the course of the tournament with additional details.
