SK Pieces duked it out against teams like Delirium, MyWay, Bugs and Casual Dads before squaring off against reigning Cup 1 champions Kungarna in the finals.

To achieve victory, SK Pieces fought MyWay during the quarterfinals. The team lost 1-3, which pushed them into the lower elimination bracket. However, SK Pieces didn’t give in and defeated Bugs 3-1 and Casual Dads 3-0. They continued to fight their way to the top in a rematch against MyWay in the lower bracket after the latter team got defeated by Kungarna.

When it came down to the finals, SK Pieces went up against Kungarna for the weekly crown. The first point went to SK Pieces, who quickly took down the enemy Rogue in 40 seconds with the help of Combustion and burst damage. This was followed by another SK Pieces victory when the team defeated Kungarna’s Mage in Tol’Viron Arena.

However, Kungara persisted in game three, earning a point in Ashamane’s Fall. The team needed more points for the win, but Maldraxxus Coliseum went to SK Pieces after they burst down the opposing Mage. SK Pieces then secured the final point in Hook Point arena.

With a score of 4-1, SK Pieces became the winners of World of Warcraft Arena World Championship Cup 2.

Team Liquid claims a 4-3 victory

Over in the North American region, Team Liquid became the Cup 2 winners after playing against teams such as Kawhi, the Golden Guardians and Power Men.

In the quarterfinals, Team Liquid went 3-0 against the Golden Guardian, which earned them a spot in the semifinals. However, Team Liquid fell 0-3 to Power Men, pushing them into the lower bracket where they fought the Golden Guardians again. Team Liquid bested them 3-0 once more before advancing to the finals for a rematch against Power Men.

During the finals, game one went to Team Liquid in the Nagrand Arena after they took down the enemy Warlock. However, Power Men persisted and claimed victories in Ashamane’s Fall, Hook Point and Maldraxxus Coliseum.

Team Liquid needed a reverse sweep to secure their victory for the week, and they accomplished that in the next few games. They committed to and took down the enemy Mage in Empyrean Domain in game five. They secured Tiger’s Peak after defeating the opposing Rogue, and Team Liquid obtained the final point for a 4-3 victory when they bested Power Men in Tol’Viron Arena.

Both SK Pieces and Team Liquid earned the most weekly points toward the Circuit. However, the action is not over yet, as the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship will return next weekend on YouTube.
