Seized is a professional Russian CSGO player and former Counter-Strike 1.6 player. He began his career in 2012 with teams like RuSh3D, dAT Team, zNation, Begrip Gaming, and joined Natus Vincere in 2013. He stayed with Na’Vi until January of 2018 where he transitioned from an inactive role to a loan player on FlipSid3 Tactics. Later, seized joined Gambit Esports as a trial player. After being moved to an inactive role, he moved to organizations like UnderPressure and RuntimeGG before being signed by Vega Squadron.

Along with Alexander “scoobyxie” Marynych and Dmitriy “Dima” Bandurka, seized joined Vega Squadron in April 2019. The esports organization was in the middle of a rebuilding effort. However, the roster did not manage to qualify for ESL One: Cologne’s European Open Qualifier after being signed. The team also failed to find much success at other events. This ended up in the entire roster being put on the transfer list in August and Alexander “Lk-” Lemeshev leaving his manager position.

After being released, seized is still considered a great player in the CIS region. Much of the player’s success comes from his time on Na’Vi, where he stayed for four years. He was considered a very consistent player between 2013 and 2016. However, seized was promoted to the CSGO roster’s in-game leader role in 2016. This was after Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko was kicked from Natus Vincere and ended up joining Gambit Gaming. In this new role as in-game leader, seized did not perform up to expectations and seemed to be deteriorating. He ended up requesting to leave the team.

Fellow player Dmitriy “Dima” Bandurka similarly announced his free agency the day before seized. Other members of the former Vega Squadron roster have also revealed their free-agent status. With seized’s skill level, what other CIS teams could he potentially join?
