Premium gaming chair supplier SecretLab has partnered with League of Legends developer Riot Games to release a quartet of official LoL-themed chairs. Each chair is designed to capture the aesthetics of a particular champion. Or, in the final case here, the K/DA line of champion skins. The League champs that will be getting their own high-end seat as part of the line are Ahri, Yasuo, and Akali. On top of that, there’s the aforementioned K/DA chair, which is inspired by Riot’s K-Pop star style skin line.
League of Legends and Secretlab have a history together, although the chair maker has never made anything inspired by the actual game content before. The award-winning chair designer has previously released an official (light up no less) LEC chair, and they’ve worked with a whole host of top-tier LCS teams and other esports organizations including Team Liquid and Origen.
Legendary design
As you can see from the above media, Secretlab’s League of Legends collection is just as stylish and understated as the rest of their designs. If you were expecting an all-over print of the champion in garish colors—you couldn’t be much further from the truth.
The Japanese-style wind on the back of the Yasuo Omega edition is truly gorgeous. Ahri’s trademark fox tail contrasts beautifully with the deep red of her design. It seems Riot and Secretlab would have worked hard to make sure they picked the right champions for this collab. We personally think they made four great choices.
League of their own
However, those lovely designs are not all. Each Secretlab League of Legends gaming chair will feature all the standard Secretlab tech that puts them among the best gaming chair makers in the world. That includes full lumbar support, plush premium leather, memory foam padding, adjustable back supports, and a whole load more.
This won’t come cheap, however. Expect each chair to retail at around $400. However, if you want to be the envy of all your friends (and enemies) while owning Summoner’s Rift in ultimate comfort and style – these might be the chairs for you. They launch today, August 12 2020 and you can find on them on Secretlab’s site right now.
Do you like the subtle design on these chairs, or would you prefer more larger-than-life imagery? What champions would you want on your League of Legends gaming chair? Let us know in the comments below.
