Rocket League Winter Roadmap reveals Season 12 rewards and more

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Psyonix has revealed its roadmap for Rocket League for the rest of 2019. With RLCS8, the frosty fest, and Rocket Pass 5 still to come, more features and updates were also listed, including the rewards for ranked Season 12.

Rocket League Season 12 rewards

For the first time, the season rewards are some incredible-looking Universal Animated Decals, meaning they can be used on any customizable car. Check out the video below for a preview!

The first 3 DLC packs to be added to the base version of Rocket League

In an update later this year, the immensely popular Dominus battle-car, along with the Takumi, Scarab, Zippy, Ripper, and Grog battle-cars, will be included in the base version of Rocket League, rather than in its first three packs of DLC. The GOTY edition is therefore also not available anymore, nor are the aforementioned DLC packs. Soon, everyone will be able to become inconsiderate ball-chasers sporting a Dominus, which will also become available in Titanium White in the Blueprint Update.

Inventory Archiving

Possibly the best feature listed in the roadmap is Inventory Archiving. Coming with the Blueprint Update, this feature will make inventory organization much less of a chore, as you’ll gain the ability to archive items. This means they will only be shown in a separate tab. No more clogging up your entire inventory with worthless items you don’t want the displeasure of laying your eyes upon.

Frosty Fest

While Haunted Hallows, Rocket League’s Halloween event, is still underway, Frosty Fest was also confirmed. Starting in December, you’ll be able to unlock holiday-themed items for your cars in the same fashion as any other event.

Blueprint and store information next month

With the blueprint update announced last month, Psyonix is ready to reveal more information about it next month. With crates finally departing the game in favor of RNG-less (monetized) drops, we can’t wait to see what else they have in store. That said, we can probably expect it to be similar to the esports shop, which cycles items on a 24 and 48-hour basis.

Now, get grinding for those rewards. You have over a month left to get your desired reward and to finish your Rocket Pass 4. How far have you gotten thus far? Let us know in the comments below!
